(Web Desk) – During the out-going 2018, Pakistan Cricket team have faced many ebbs and flows but the overall performance of team was not impressive as green shirts managed to win only four test matches out of eight while eight one day matches were won out of 18, however; achievements in T-20 matches were magnificent.

Test Matches: Green shirts played total eight test matches in 2018 in which four were won while three lost, however, one match ended without reaching to any result.

Shaheen’s success started after wining first test match but the souvenir test series leveled against England, father of cricket, in Ireland.

Against Australia, Pakistan were on top to collapse Aussies in a two-match series in UAE, however; green capes had to digest a bitter defeat against the New Zealand in a three-match test series on the same pitches.

Now, Pakistan are facing Proteas (South Africa) in 9th and last match of the year in Centurion, South Africa.

One-day Matches: After disappointing dispatch in long format many green caps had also faced vicissitudes of 2018. By crushing a B category type team Zimbabwe, the National team had relieved burden of defeat; but defeat by ace-rival India and Bangladesh had become the unwanted companion of Shaheens in Asia Cup 2018 in the Desert of UAE.



However, Pakistan leveled a three-match series against black caps with the end of 2018 s one-day match series.

Twenty-20: In T-20 format, Pakistan s performance was tremendous with 17 success stories out of 19 played matches while faced trounce in two matches.

Individual Performance: Haris Sohail, 29, had made 550 runs in 15 innings of eight test matches while Fakher Zaman scored 875, nevertheless, left arm batsman became  Fakhar-e-Pakistan  with scoring 576 in but 18 T-20 matches.



On the bowling side, Pakistani Fast bowler Muhammad Abbas played seven test match and collapsed the opponents with taking 39 wickets.

Yasir Shah, however, had broken 82 old record by becoming the fastest bowler to take 200 test wickets and secured top position in test match during his 33th match with the completion of double century of wickets.



Shahdab Khan, 20, secured 23 wickets in 17 one days while leg spinner destroyed the wickets of 28 opponents in 19 T-20 matches.
