Sethi announces to send legal notice to PCB

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi Sunday said he would pursue legal action after the board claimed it spent more than 70 million rupees on his expenes.

“I was PCB chief for a year but the report shows five-year expenses. I did not take a single penny from the Pakistan Super League funds… Distortion of facts and figures,” he added.

Sethi said Shahryar Khan served as PCB chief for three years but the report showed his expenses for one year and did not disclose expenses of the remaining two years.

According to the document released by the PCB, Najam Sethi pocketed Rs70.19 million during his tenure from 2014 to 2018.

It said the former PCB chairman received Rs 10.5 million under Pakistan Super League (PSL) allowance, while Rs8.3 million were covered under car, fuel, personal security and driver expenses.
