PCB forms four-member special body to reform cricket
The committee members include Mohsin Khan, Wasim Akram, Misbah-ul-Haq and Urooj Mumtaz.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Friday announced a four-member special committee tasked to oversee all cricketing matters in the country.
The committee will be headed by Mohsin Khan and includes former captains Wasim Akram and Misbah-ul-Haq as well as former Pakistan Women’s cricketer Urooj Mumtaz.
Former cricketers Mudassar Nazar, Haroon Rasheed, and Zakir Khan have been appointed as assistants.
Talking to reporters, PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani said the committee members will receive allowances instead of salaries.
“The final decision to appoint captain rests with the chairman but we will seek recommendations from selectors as well as the committee, which will only act as an advisory body,” he added.
