(Dunya News) – Pakistan’s star cricket icon Shahid Afridi on Saturday responded to allegations of consuming ‘naswar’ during Defence Day ceremony held in General Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
In his explanatory statement, the Karachi Kings’ all-rounder put rumors of chewing naswar to rest once and for all as he claimed that he was eating clove and fennel seeds. He also show packet of clove to the reporters.
Afridi—known for cruel big hitting—found himself in the middle of the controvers after video of him chewing tobacco went viral on the social media. The 37-year-old cricketer was heavily trolled on social media.
