LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday pacified all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez with promise of ‘suitable representation’ in the national squad.

Hafeez—who was exasperated over his exclusion from the national squad announced for Asia Cup 2018—held an important presser here in Lahore today but the tone wasn’t aggressive.

Hafeez vowed to make come back in the national side with solid show in the domestic cricket. Querulous cricketer also penned letter to newly elected chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani in this regard.

Hafeez also dismissed news of premature retirement.

It is pertinent here to mention that air was thick with rumors that 37-year-old all-rounder might announce his retirement in today’s press conference.
