PSL 3: Zalmi's Kamran Akmal scores first century of the edition

(Dunya News) – With cricket fever on the rise as the Pakistan Super League comes close to its final stage, Kamran Akmal becomes the first century-scorer during the third edition of the league.
The batsman has become not only the first batsman to score a century in this edition but has earned the title of becoming the top scorer of PSL 3.
As if that was all, Akmal has now become the 5th Pakistani batsman to have scored a whopping 5, 000 runs in T20.
Akmal scored his excellent innings at Sharjah’s stadium. The batsman-wicketkeeper gave an impressive performance against Lahore Qalandars despite his leg injury.
The batsman scored a fabulous century on 59 balls featuring 10 fours and 7 powerful sixers against Lahore Qalandars. Akmal recorded a match-winning 107 runs for his team Peshawar Zalmi and remained not out. He was declared Man of the Match.
For his electrifying performance, Akmal was congratulated for his performance on Twitter. The batsman also tweeted over the success of his team in securing a spot in the playoffs.

Akmal was also a century maker at PSL 2 and now in the third edition has shined again by scoring another blistering century for his team.
So far, Akmal is the highest scoring batsman in PSL3 with his 347 runs in 10 matches.
Following his latest performance, he has now become the fifth Pakistani batsman to score 5, 000 runs in T20 cricket.
