(Dunya News) – With third installment of Pakistan Super League (PSL-3) just one day away, Lahore Qalandars have suffered a major blow as their hard-hitting right-hand Australian batsman has been ruled out of the tournament due a shoulder injury.
Chris Lynn aka Lynnsanity was first pick at PSL draft ceremony.
According to details, Lynn suffered a dislocated shoulder in T20 series final against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland.
Cricket Australia—in a statement— has also confirmed that 27-year-old dynamic hitter would return to Brisbane to ascertain magnitude of his injury.
“Australia’s Chris Lynn will return to Brisbane for further medical assessment after he suffered yet another shoulder injury in Auckland on Wednesday night,” said Cricket Australia in a statement. “The hard-hitting right-hander has been ruled out of the upcoming Pakistan Super League, but is still hopeful of playing in the Indian Premier League later this year.”
Lynn—who was amassed mammoth $2 mln during auction ceremony of Indian Premier League—vowed to make an all-out effort to make himself available for cash-rich Indian league.
