Shoaib Akhtar appointed Advisor to PCB Chairman Najam Sethi

Shoaib Akhtar had retired in all cricket formats in 2011.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former pacer Shoaib Akhtar has been appointed brand ambassador of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Advisor to Chairman on Cricket Affairs on Friday.

Chairman of the board Najam Sethi made the announcement in a Twitter message.



Sethi wrote: “Shoaib Akhtar has been appointed Advisor to Chairman on Cricket Affairs/Brand Ambassador PCB”.

Akhtar dubbed as Rawalpindi Express by fans has played 46 Test matches in national cap and 163 One-Day Internationals (ODI) in his career before he announced to retire in all cricket formats in 2011 at the age of 35.
