(Web Desk) – Sri Lanka has put Pakistan to bat in second semi-final of fifth Blind Cricket World Cup on Wednesday.
Blind Cricket World Cup kicked off earlier this month with a grand opening ceremony held in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and is scheduled to conclude on January 19.
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Australia are participating in the tournament. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had to reschedule the tournament after India pulled out as authorities failed to give clearance to the team to visit arch-rival Pakistan.
Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to field first against Pakistan.
On the other hand, India is playing Bangladesh in the first semi-final today in Ajman, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Defending champions India had earlier beaten Pakistan by seven wickets at Ajman Oval Cricket Ground.
On Sunday, Pakistan thrashed Australia in record victory by putting together 563-4 in 40 overs. Australia were beaten by 393 runs as Aussies were dismissed at 170 runs.
