SHARJAH (Dunya News) – Pakistan left-arm pace bowler Mohammad Amir has backed T10 cricket, the latest format of the game, by saying that it will help to deal with the pressure of Twenty20 cricket.

Talking to media in Sharjah where the T10 League was hosted, the 25-year-old said some people think the 10-over format is made for batsmen but bowlers can also take advantage from the new version.

Amir said the bowlers will learn to deliver more dot balls from T10 format that will eventually help them in T20 cricket. The pacer said he learned many things from coach Wasim Akram while representing Maratha Arabians in the T10 League.

Let it be known that the arrival of T10 cricket has started a new debate as some players and analysts opine that it will prove harmful for the game.
