Summary PCB legal advisor said the board will take unilateral decision if Latif wont appear on June 29.
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) - Suspended cricketer in Pakistan Super League (PSL) spot-fixing scandal Khalid Latif has taken another U-turn by writing a letter to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, stating his reservations over Disciplinary Committee.
The spot fixing case is becoming difficult for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after the refusal of Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif to be witnesses in the case.
Latif has raised questions over the investigation of Disciplinary Committee and sent a copy of the letter, forward to the PCB, to the premier.
The cricketer’s lawyer Badar Alam said that his client received notice of hearing from the board with delay.
On the other hand, PCB legal advisor said that the board will announce unilateral decision if Khalid Latif would not appear before the tribunal on June 29. He said that there is no importance of the letter submitted by the accused.
