Summary "There exits no law whatsoever that a suspended cricketer should appear as witness"
LAHORE (Dunya News) – With investigations in PSL spot-fixing scandal underway, the proceedings regards to Sharjeel Khan’s appearance before the tribunal case have also completed as the decision in the particular case has also been reserved.
While talking to media, PCB s legal advisor Tafazzul Rizvi was of the opinion that Sharjeeel is well aware of the fact that he will be in hot waters if being cross-questioned.
On the other hand, Sharjeel Khan’s counsel claimed while letting it be known that there exits no law whatsoever that a suspended cricketer could be summoned to appear before the tribunal as witness.
It has also been reported that the hearing of case of one of the other character of PSL spot-fixing scandal i.e., Nasir Jamshed will be held on June 30 instead of June 22.
