WEB DESK – The International Cricket Council has named the Team of the Champions Trophy 2017 as Pakistani skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has been crowned the captain after he led his side to a fairytale finish of the tournament.

The squad named by ICC include seven players from the two finalists as three English players have also been made part of the team.

The ICC Champions Trophy Team also comprises of a Banglideshi player with Kane Williamson included as twelfth man.

Pakistan’s pace bowler Hassan Ali clinching Gold Ball trophy and Shikhar Dhawan winning the Golden Bat were the prominent mentions in the squad.

Moreover, Pakistani opener Fakhar Zaman has been chosen as the opening partner of Shaikhar Dhawan for his outstanding show with the bat during the Champions Trophy.
