Summary Rishi Kapoor tweeted about an India-Pakistan final before India had won the semi-final.
(Web Desk) - Bollywood actor, producer and director Rishi Kapoor has put himself in the line of fire of Pakistani fans after his tweet about the Champions Trophy final.
After Pakistan defeated England in their semi-final match of the tournament, everyone took to social media to express their feelings about the match and the upcoming final. Pakistani celebrities lauded the green shirts for their performance.

However, many people from across the border also took to expressing their opinions. One such person was Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor. The star tweeted, "Congratulations Pakistan! You enter finals? Wow! Good to see you wearing our colour BLUE! Get ready to be BLUED now! We will BLUE you away!".

While this would not have garnered much response, but the fact that the Bollywood star was full of overconfidence put him at the receiving end of some harsh criticism from the Pakistani fans. Had he waited for India to defeat Bangladesh in the semi-final, which they actually did, he would not have been trolled so severely.
Can t you ever keep your feet on the ground? You people are not even in the final yet.

Although India did defeat Bangladesh, what would have been extremely funny would be India losing to Bangladesh when more than half of India was wallowing in arrogance and overconfidence. In such a case, Rishi Kapoor would have been roasted so much that he would have thought twice before tweeting such comments again.
