Summary The fans and the experts alike were delighted with how well the team played.
(Web Desk) - Who would have thought that after the humbling defeat to India by a whopping 123-run margin that Pakistan team would qualify for the semi finals let alone reach the finals of this year’s Champions Trophy. But having outplayed their opponents in almost every department ever since the gloomy day at Edgbaston, the Pakistan team never looked back.
Yesterday another confident looking unit turned on to the field and even though they had a star player missing in the shape of Mohammad Amir, the team never looked out of sorts. Executing the basics to perfection, Sarfraz’s XI humiliated England and eventually turned out victorious by a huge 8-wicket margin in what some labeled as one of the most “Un-Pakistani Pakistani’ performances of late.
The fans and the experts alike were delighted with how well the team played. Here is a look at what the people thought of yesterday’s famous triumph over England ultimately booking a place in the Final of an ICC event after eight agonizingly long years.
Pakistan have been calm, composed and organised; they have been opposite to every stereotype assigned to them.
