CARDIFF (Dunya News) - In the 6th Match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017, it’s the host England that will take on another stronger team in Group A i.e. New Zealand at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.

A lot of drama was witnessed in Milne’s over that was 21st of the innings as Root slammed him for a boundary towards backward point for four more. Of the second last ball, it was Hales who hit one down the ground for a huge maximum.

Morgan announced himself to the crease as he immediately hit a boundary of Boult’s loose delivery and fetching four runs in the process.

The skipper looked promising however a fine edge of his bat fell straight into keeper’s gloves as he departed after scoring a quick innings of 13 runs.
Root scored a brilliant boundary in the next over.
Stokes as usual was looking aggressive as he lofted a drive over long-on for huge six of Anderson.
In the next over, a glorious shot of the front foot fetched four runs for Stokes.
England were 156 for 3 after 28 overs.
Stokes chose Neesham in the thirtieth over as he muscled one away for a boundary towards long-off.
It seemed like Stokes was enjoying the width provided by Neesham as he powerfully struck yet again in the next over for four more.
Joe Root departed in the thirty fourth over after played a brilliant knock of 64 runs.
Meanwhile, Stokes was cruising along as he thumped Milne towards mid-off for four.

Roy as usual started the innings in his own style as he crunched one towards the cover of Southee’s first over.
Hales chose a ball from Boult in the second over to hammer it through point for four more.
England were 14 for no loss after the first three overs.
It was in the fourth over when Hales decided to cut loose as he lofted a ball from Boult over square leg for a maximum.
Southee bowled a brilliant fifth over as only a single came of it.
England were 27 for no loss after six overs.
Hales took full advantage of the width provided by Southee as he pummeled it away over point for four.
