KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former captain Mohammad Yousuf has demanded head coach Mickey Arthur’s termination after Pakistan’s humiliating defeat against India in the Champions Trophy.
Yousuf said Mickey Arthur could not make any positive influence on national players, and the time has come that we should finally admit why we slipped down to number eight in ICC one-day internationals rankings.
He remarked that Pakistan’s bowling order was not chosen correctly, and it is just ridiculous to declare Junaid Khan and Hasan Ali bowlers of same style, as one is a left-arm bowler and the other is right-arm pacer, and both share no similarities.
Mohammad Yousuf further added that it is shameful and unacceptable to suffer such a heavy defeat from a team that Pakistan have beaten on numerous occasions in the past.
