Spot-fixing probe: Khalid Latif appears before ACU
ACU will demand more information from Khalid Latif during the interrogation.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Suspended cricketer Khalid Latif has on Tuesday appeared before Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) anti-corruption unit (ACU) for spot-fixing probe.
According to details, ACU will demand more information from Khalid Latif during the interrogation. Khalid Latif has been accused of violating six clauses of anti-corruption code, but the cricketer has denied all allegations.
It is worth mentioning here that Khalid Latif had refused to appear before ACU on April 26 in the presence of Colonel (retd) Azam, who is also the head of ACU. The cricketer showed his reservations regarding his presence, and said Colonel (retd) Azam’s behavior was very unreasonable with him.
PCB later directed Khalid Latif to appear before ACU at any cost by issuing him a notice.
