Summary ACU cleared Shahzeb Hassan after conducting an inquiry.
DUBAI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Super League (PSL) corruption scandal has further disclosed as Shahzeb Hassan himself contacted Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) anti-corruption unit (ACU) and informed about a suspicious person.
As per details, Shahzeb presented himself before ACU and told that the suspicious person tried to contact him. ACU cleared Shahzeb Hassan after conducting an inquiry and allowed him to continue playing in PSL. It has also been informed that Karachi Kings’ skipper Kumar Sangakkara and head coach Mickey Arthur encouraged Shahzeb Hassan on his act.
Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board had provisionally suspended contracts of Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif on Friday over alleged violation of Anti-Corruption Code of Pakistan Super League, and both were sent back to Pakistan.

Notification issued by the cricket authority stated that an investigation is ongoing into an international syndicate which is believed to be attempting to corrupt Pakistan’s league.
PSL Chairman Najam Sethi tweeted that zero tolerance will be shown to those who try to damage or harm the game, and vowed to protect Pakistan cricket.

He also said that Pakistan PCB anti-corruption unit will remain vigilant and continue to protect cricket from menace of corruption.
