Summary Shehryar Khan and Najam Sethi catering to personal interests, alleges Zaka Ashraf
LAHORE (Dunya News/APP) – Inzamamul Haq has said on Friday that Salman Butt among others are under consideration as replacements of Younis Khan and Misbahul Haq who could also benefit the team in World Cup 2019.
In a media talk, the former skipper said that the team would have benefited a lot more if he was appointed a coach instead of chief selector.
While talking about a round-table conference of former national cricketers, he said that the purpose is to learn for progress in modern day sport. Haq said that Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam are testament to the fact that the country has young talent.
Earlier today, it was reported that former chief of the cricket board, Zaka Ashraf has criticised the round-table conference calling for more concrete steps.
He alleged the top officials of the board to be playing around their chairs while the sport requires practical steps.
“PCB is being run by two chairmen (Shehryar Khan and Najam Sethi) who have their own personal interests and are just enjoying lucrative posts," the former chief said.
