PERTH (Dunya News/ AFP) – Confident looking Pakistan cricket team have reached Perth Monday for third one-day international (ODI) against Australia.





The third match of the series will be played on January 19 at the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) ground, Perth.

Earlier, Pakistan defeated Australia by six wickets in second ODI that was played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday, and are looking confident for the third encounter against the Aussies.

It was Pakistan’s first ODI win against the Kangaroos on Australian soil for 12 years and first at the MCG since 1985.

Australia’s fast bowler Mitchell Starc and all-rounder Mitchell Marsh will miss the upcoming Perth ODI.

As per details shared by Cricket Australia, bowling spearhead Starc needs a rest while Marsh has been carrying a shoulder injury.

Mitchell Starc will re-join the squad in Sydney for the fourth match in the five-leg series which is now level at 1-1.
