Summary PCB chief selector backs Amir and expresses hope for Australian tour.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Inzamam ul Haq has on Saturday said that Mohammad Amir has made a comeback after five years so he needs time to get his rhythm back. He added that Amir should not be expected to be as lethal as he was back in those days, reported Dunya News.

While talking to media, Inzama said that Misbah ul-Haq has been given a free hand to decide his future as captain of the Test side. He also said that Younis Khan needs to regain his form against Australia.

The chief selector expressed hope for the team’s better performance during Australian tour, contrary to the series defeat against New Zealand.

Moreover, Pakistan has secured a 210-run win against Australia XI in the side match of the tour to Australia. The victory came after an undefeated 82 runs score by Azhar Ali and Mohammad Nawaz taking three wickets in the second innings.
