KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan women cricket team are facing tough challenge to make place in upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s World Cup.

Sources told that ten teams would participate in the mega event that will begin in February 2017 in Colombo.

A strong face-off would be taken place between Pakistan, England, West Indies, New Zealand, South Africa and India to attain the rest of three spots as Australia have already qualified in the tournament.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan stand on seventh position in ICC ODI ranking.

All the ten teams would be divided into two groups after which top six teams would be sent to next round.
