Summary PCB Chairman says allegations leveled by Danish Kaneria were baseless

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan on Wednesday stated that he is saddened over Fawad Alam not been picked in Pakistan’s Test squad touring England, reported Dunya News.

While conversing with media, Shahryar Khan said that CCA’s reservations over the selection of the side were not valid. He added that he was saddened over Fawad Alam not been selected to play for Pakistan in the upcoming England tour.

PCB Chairman stated that allegations leveled by former Test player Danish Kaneria were baseless, adding that a number of non-Muslim players played for Pakistan in the past.

Shahryar Khan added that Mushtaq Ahmed was appointed as bowling coach of the side only for the Test series in the England tour.
