The legendary bowler left the post after final settlement with Lahore Qalandars team as their director of cricket however, the sources told that negotiation is underway to include the former cricketer in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) administration.

Earlier, former national coach Mudasser Nazar called back Aaqib Javed to serve Pakistan cricket. He had also led Pakistan as head coach of their National Cricket Academy and assistant coach of the national team.

The former fast bowler expressed his reservations ever since the post became vacant. Javed was of the view that the selection committee is biased therefore he will not be submitting his application.

Javed said that he has no conflicts with former captains Rameez Raja and Wasim Akram but he decided not to apply for the designation of Head coach after the former two expressed their thoughts regarding taking services of a foreign player as the coach for the team.
