Summary Qalandar won by 63 runs with 3.4 overs to spare

DUBAI (Dunya News) - Lahore Qalandars beat Quetta Gladiators with 63 runs in the seventh match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, the seventh match of PSL T20 was played between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators in Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Lahore Qalandars was led by Azhar Ali and Quetta Gladiators by Sarfraz Ahmed. Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and chose to field first.

Lahore Qalandars made a careful start by avoiding any quick wicket loss. Qalandars took charge off Gladiators bowlers after the departure of skipper Azhar Ali. Cameron Delport  and Umer Akmal thrashed the opponent bowlers with both making fifties. Akmal made 93 runs off 40 balls. Qalandars made massive 193 runs with a loss of 2 wickets. 

Quetta Gladiators lost three early wickets in quick succession but they were rescued by the skipper Sarfraz Ahmad and Muhammad Nawaz. Sarfraz was stumped by Zohaib at the score of 111. After that Quetta Gladiators  wickets fell like leaves. Qalandars won by 63 runs with 3.4 overs to spare.

Overs 12.3: OUT!!! Sarfraz went for a big one but got beaten and Rizwan makes no mistake behind the wicket and stumps him. Zohaib brings the much needed breakthrough. Gladiators at 111/4.

Overs 12: Great match going on, Nawaz and Sarfraz thrashing Qalandar bowlers in response to huge target set by Qalandars. Gladiators at 108/3.

Overs 10: Muhammad Nawaz thrashes Hammad Azam with four boundaries in an over. Gladiators make strong comeback. Gladiators at 87/3.

Overs 9: Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed and Muhammad Nawaz comes to rescue for Gladiators. Gladiator movinig steadily towards target. Gladiators at 69/3. 

Overs 5.4: Kevin Pietersen goes!! Pietersen went for a pull on a slower short ball and failed to reach the distance. Caught at deep backward square. Qalandars on top as Gladiators are in deep trouble. Gladiators 37/3. 

Overs 3.2: Luke Wright goes for a  big one but caught at mid-wicket. Gladiators in trouble. Gladiators at 26/2.

Overs 2.5: Shahzad BOWLED!!! Kevon Cooper rips apart Shahzad s stumps. Qalandars on top. Gladiators at 20/1.

Overs 20: It was raining sixed in Dubai International stadium. Lahore Qalandars make massive 194 total with only 2 wickets to loss. 

Overs 19.5: Umer Akmal s massive innnigs of 93 runs off 40 balls ends here. Went for making a century by clearing the field but instead caught at boundary. Qalandars at 193/3

Overs 19: Umer Akmal thrashes Umar Gul in 19th over of the innings with two sixes and one four. Qalandars at 185/2.

Overs 18.4: Going, going, gone!!! Umer Akmal hits another massive six. Qalandars all in control. Qalandars 174/2.

Overs 17: OUT!! Delport went for a reverse sweep and got beaten by the spin. Baber takes the much needed wicket for Gladiators. Qalandars 157/2.

Overs 16: Umar Akmal s thrashing fifty takes Qalandar on the steering wheel. Qalandars at 150/1.

Overs 13: Delport and Umar Akmal charge towards Gladiators bowlers. Qalandars racing towards building a huge total. Qalandars at 99/1.

Overs 10: Skipper Azhar Ali OUT, caught by Akber-ur Rehman. Umer Gul finally gets the much needed breakthrough. Qalandars at 62/1.

Overs 6: Azhar Ali and Cameron Delport taking Qalandars carefully towards a big total. 34/0.

Overs 3: Lahore Qalandars 19 for no runs. This finally seems a stable start from the Qalandars.
