Summary Fast bowler rewarded for hard work, will be included in central contract due to New Zealand series

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has on Monday decided to include fast bowler Mohammad Amir into its central contract. The decision has been made due to Amir’s excellent performance in the series against New Zealand, reported Dunya News.

Returning after a 5-year ban due to match-fixing scandal, Amir has finally been rewarded for his hard work as the PCB decided to include him in the central contract.

According to sources, the fast bowler will be included in ‘Category-C’ of the central contract. Amir was successful in proving his worth in the very first international series after his return to the national team. Although he could get only 1 wicket during the Twenty-20 series, Amir showed 5 Kiwi players the way to pavilion during the 2 One-Day International (ODI) matches that he played on the tour.
