MELBOURNE (AFP) - Rain delayed the start of the second Test between Australia and the West Indies at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday.
West Indies have won the toss, and have chosen to bowl first. Carlos Brathwaite will make his debut for them, in place of the injured Shannon Gabriel. That s the only change West Indies have made. For Australia, Usman Khawaja is back in place of Shaun Marsh.
Showers are expected to clear so play can begin at some point on the first day in what is regarded as the showpiece day in the Australian cricket calendar.
Australia hold a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series, having thrashed the Caribbean tourists by an innings and 212 runs in Hobart.
