Summary Shahryar Khan said that Younis's sudden retirement decision

LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Test cricketers Saeed Ajmal and Umar Akmal’s central contracts have been suspended following violation of discipline, said Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday. He also expressed regret over sudden retirement of Younis Khan, reported Dunya News.

Talking to media at a press conference in Gaddafi Staduim, Shahrayar Khan said that full investigation would be launched on Umar Akmal incident. He said that as a first step, Umar Akmal has been excluded from the squad.

Chairman PCB also expressed regret over Saeed Ajmal’s statement adding that both players’ contract have been suspended following their breach of code of conduct.

Shahryar Khan said that Younis s sudden retirement decision is shocking adding that the veteran batsman should have waited till the end of series to make his decision.
