ABU DHABI (Web Desk) - Pakistan has won by 6 wickets after it chased 216 in 43.4 overs in the first day-night international against England in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Muhammad Hafeez top scored with 102 runs for the batting side while chasing.The match marked the retirement of senior Pakistan batsman Younis Khan from one-day cricket which was announced earlier in the day.
Earlier, England captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to bat.
Pakistan left out opener Ahmed Shehzad and instead included spinning allrounder Bilal Asif whose bowling action was cleared earlier this month. England kept the same line-up which beat Hong Kong in a warm-up game on Sunday.The remaining matches will be played in Abu Dhabi (November 13), Sharjah (November 17) and Dubai (November 20).
