Summary Off-spinner complained that PCB has not fought his case on medical grounds before ICC.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday sought an explanation from off-spinner Saeed Ajmal over his recent remarks.

PCB has summoned Ajmal to record his word for criticizing board administration in his matter.

The disheartened off-spinner complained that PCB has not fought his case on medical grounds before ICC.

Not only PCB, but the 38-year-old player also bashed International Cricket Council (ICC) for discouraging Pakistani players at every step.

‘ICC is only after Pakistani bowlers but doesn’t check the actions of Indian spinners like Harbhajan Singh and Ravi Chandran Ashwin’, he added.

While demanding a bowling test for Harbhajan Singh, the ‘spin magician’ claimed that Singh’s action would also have over 15-degree bend. He went on to claim that Ashwin bowls illegal deliveries but ICC closes eyes on them.

He said that ICC is habitual of banning every Pakistani spinner who starts performing well.

Indian media s reaction over Ajmal s claims

Indian media had gone berserk over Ajmal’s truth about the illicit Indian bowlers’ action and instead of responding to allegations, Indian media started hurling accusations at Ajmal.

Indian media couldn’t take this truth and jumped in to defend Harbhajan. Talking to an Indian channel, former Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf also demanded action against Harbhajan and all other bowlers who have an illegal bowling action.

Ajmal barred from bowling due to suspicious action

The 38-year-old was suspended over illegal bowling action in September last year. His withdrawal came after remedial work carried out under former Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq to alter his bowling action fell short.

Ajmal’s first assessment in August last year revealed his arm extension went to 43 degrees. He however, remained unsure whether he would be able to feature in the World Cup 2015 or not.

He was included in the preliminary 30-man squad for the World Cup, but after his withdrawal was dropped from the 15-man party announced last week.
