SHARJAH (AFP) - Pakistan, who won the toss and opted to bat, were 87-2 at lunch on the opening day of the third and final Test against England on Sunday.

Shoaib Malik was unbeaten on 37 and Younis Khan 21 not out after Pakistan lost opener Azhar Ali (nought) and Mohammad Hafeez (27) on a grassless Sharjah stadium pitch.

Pakistan lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the second Test in Dubai and drawing the first in Abu Dhabi.
