LAHORE (Dunya News) – Board of Control of Cricket India (BCCI) has written a letter to Indian government over getting go-ahead on Indo-Pak series on Tuesday, reported Dunya News.

An important development has taken place regarding Indo-Pak series as BCCI wrote a letter to its government over Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) pressure. BCCI has asked for the government’s approval in ‘Yes or No’ terms in the text of letter.

On the other hand, PCB has made it clear that it will not ask government of Pakistan to negotiate over the series and stated that ‘the ball is in India’s court’. BCCI will hold an important meeting with PCB as well in November over bilateral series.

It is pertinent to mention here that Indo-Pak series was scheduled for December 2015 yet India failed to live up to its commitment and refused to play the series with Pakistan.
