ABU DHABI (AFP) - Pakistan, trailing by 75 runs in the first innings, were 35-2 at lunch on the fifth and final day of the opening Test against England in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Opener Mohammad Hafeez (32) and Younis Khan (two) were at the crease as Pakistan still trailed by 40 runs after England declared their first innings at 598-9 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

That gave England a lead of 75 runs over Pakistan s first innings total of 523-8 declared.

England paceman James Anderson had taken 2-12.
