LAHORE (Dunya News) – A memorial match was played on Saturday to honour the martyred warden Muhammad Tanvir who was fatally injured during attack on Sri Lankan cricket team. The match was played between a team of wardens and a private company, reported Dunya News.
A memorial match was played in honour of the martyred warden at Gaddafi Stadium. The warden embraced martyrdom on March 3, 2009. The match ended in a draw but the players stated that they were happy to play a match to honour memory of the warden and will never forgive his sacrifice.
