LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced award of Players Central Contract for 2015-16 with increase in remunerations both monthly and match fees.

A press release states that the development was made to better shape up Central Contract Term with the financial year.

The board members also held a meeting with national players and team representatives to maximize chances of better relationship.

One of the agreed terms is a detailed financial formula for next three years. However, the board will issue fresh contracts annually for the three-year term. Secondly, the revised payment details for One Day International (ODI), Test format and T20 Internationals is as follows:

2015/16: Increase in Central Contract Monthly Retainer for C & D Categories by 10%*
 
2016/17: Increase in Central Contract Monthly Retainer of all categories by 10% & Increase in Test Match Fee by 10% and ODI Match fee by 5% for all categories.
 
2017/18: Increase in Central Monthly Retainer for all categories by 10%

* The Central Contract monthly Retainer had already been increased by 10% for all categories in the January 1-June 30th 2015 Central Contract

Moreover, bonuses for wins against Full Member countries have been restored. On the other hand, match win, series win and performance based incentives will be granted even in case of draw except T20s.

The revised categories are as such:

Category ‘A’ (6)

Azhar Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Younis Khan.

Category ‘B’ (8)

Ahmed Shehzad, Asad Shafiq, Junaid Khan, Rahat Ali, Saeed Ajmal, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Wahab Riaz, Yasir Shah.

Category ‘C’ (8)

Anwar Ali, Fawad Alam, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Imran, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaan Masood, Umar Akmal

Category ‘D’ (5)

Babar Azam, Sami Aslam, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Amin, Zulfiqar Babar.
