Summary Cricket can strengthen bilateral relation between the both states, says Zaheer Abbas.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Newly-elected president of International Cricket Council (ICC) Zaheer Abbas on Tuesday termed Pak-India cricket series as bilateral matter, Dunya News reported.
While talking to media in Lahore, ICC president urged India and Pakistan to play their positive role in holding a cricket series. He said that cricket can strengthen bilateral relation between the both states.
He told the media that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan is taking steps for the restoration of cricket between both countries.
Responding to a question, Zaheer Abbas stated that the decision of re-launching Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt in domestic and international cricket will be of PCB.
