Summary Kumar Sangakkara is due to retire from international cricket after the first two Tests.

GALLE (AFP) - Sri Lanka were 65 for five at lunch on the opening day of the first Test against India at the Galle International Stadium on Wednesday.

Skipper Angelo Mathews was unbeaten on 26 and Dinesh Chandimal was on five after the hosts, electing to bat, were reduced to 27-3 by the 12th over.
