LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shehreyar Ahmed said on Friday that the recent attack on Gurdaspur should not affect Pak-India cricket relationship. He said that if political atmosphere remains heated then the series is unlikely to be finalized, reported Dunya News.

Talking to a foreign news agency, Chairman PCB said that in the past cricket has suffered because of strains between the two countries.

He said that if the political climate between the two countries remained heated then prospective series will not materialize. However Pakistan cannot, he said, wait for more than a month or two at most.

It is pertinent to mention here that an agreement took between Pakistan and India to play 5 series in the next 8 years.
