Summary Pakistan had set target of 176 runs for the chasing side
(Web Desk) -- Pakistan has won the 1st T20 of the Pak-Sri Lanka series by 29 runs by batting first on the R Premadasa Stadium at Colombo.
Earlier on Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad scored 46 runs each to help Pakistan reach total of 175 at the loss of 5 wickets.
Sri Lanka failed to keep up with the asking rate in the middle overs after lost a flurry of wickets at the start of their innings. Siriwardana top scored with 35 runs off 17 balls. Sohail Tanvir was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets.
