DERBY (AFP) - Australia captain Michael Clarke won the toss and elected to bat against Derbyshire in a three-day tour match at Derby on Thursday.
Fresh from their 405-run thrashing of England in the second Test at Lord s on Sunday which levelled the five-match series at 1-1, Australia made several changes to their side.
Opening batsman Shaun Marsh, fast bowlers Peter Siddle and Pat Cummins, leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed and wicket-keeper Brad Haddin were all included after missing out at Lord s.
First-choice gloveman Haddin missed the second Test at Lord s for "family reasons", with Peter Nevill impressing on his Test debut.
Both players were named in the side to face Derbyshire, with the pair set to share wicket-keeping duties ahead of the third Test at Edgbaston starting on July 29.
