Summary PCB gave the rights of broadcasting Pakistan cricket matches to PTV Sports and Ten Sports

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sold the broadcasting rights of Pakistan cricket matches for the next five years to Pakistan Television Sports (PTV Sports) and Ten Sports, Dunya News reported.

A meeting of PCB Governing Board was conducted on Tuesday in which Bidding Committee Chairman Ehsan Mani and other members of the Governing Board were present. Former Test Cricketer Iqbal Qasim remained absent from the meeting. Chairman PCB Shehryar Khan gave the broadcasting rights to two TV channels for the next five years.

Pakistan’s international matches and domestic cricket will be broadcasted on PTV Sports and Ten Sports till 2020. Shehryar Khan also announced to hold Pakistan Super League in 2016 at some appropriate time. He also decided to open regional cricket academies in Faisalabad and Rawalpindi. In the end, he said that the 5-year plan will be discussed in the next meeting of the Governing Board.
