LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Pakistan is going to face Australia in the third Quarter Final of the World Cup 2015 on Friday at Adelaide. While Australia is one of the strongest sides of the world cup, 1992 World Cup winning captain Imran Khan has said that if there is one place in Australia where Pakistan can beat them, it is Adelaide.

Pakistan is expected to play Yasir Shah in place of Mohammad Irfan, who is suffering from hairline injury, against Australia. Imran Khan had said a few days back in an interview with Dunya News that Pakistan can beat Australia in Adelaide as the pitch there takes good turn and Pakistan can use its spin attack to knock the home side out of the world cup.

However, Irfan’s injury has taken Pakistan aback as he was considered as the X-factor in Pakistan’s side, quoting the head coach Waqar Younis. Imran Khan has also suggested playing Younis Khan at No. 3 against Australia in the Quarter Final.

Pakistan vs Australia game is going to start at 8:30 am according to Pakistan Standard Time and Dunya News will be covering the game live.
