Summary If Pakistan wins the Quarter Final, they will go on to win the world cup as well, says 92' skipper

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has on Thursday advised Pakistan team to play Yasir Shah in their World Cup 2015 game against Ireland. The match is going to be played in Adelaide on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

In an exclusive interview in ‘On The Front’ at Dunya News, Imran Khan said that Pakistan captain Misbahul Haq should play Yasir Shah against Ireland as Adelaide wicket is good for spinners. He also advised Misbah to ask star fast bowler Mohammad Irfan to get wickets, not to stop runs.

Imran Khan said that Misbah played a coward team against West Indies. He also said that Sarfaraz Ahmad should have been played earlier. “He is a brave boy, should have been played earlier”, said Imran.

Chairman PTI said that he captained Pakistan for ten years and there was no gambling involved then. “Once, in Sharjah, I was told that four of the players were sold out. I gathered the team and said that if any of them under-performed, he’ll be sent to jail”, he said. “If captain is fine, team won’t gamble. Teams get sold only when captains get sold. Pakistan used to turn the most difficult of matches in their favor when I used to be the captain. The 92’ team remained the best side of the world for the next ten years”, he added.
