AUCKLAND (AFP) - Rain stopped the World Cup Pool B match between Pakistan and South Africa for a second time at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday.

Pakistan were 197-5 after 40.1 overs with skipper Misbah-ul-Haq batting on 51 and Shahid Afridi on 11 after South Africa won the toss and decided to field first.

There had already been a 30-minute stoppage after 37 overs but the umpires resumed the game without shortening the match.

The dinner break was reduced to 30 minutes.
