Summary Moin Khan was provided security outside his residence upon his return to Karachi from Australia.
KARACHI (Dunya news) – Police security provided to the national cricket team’s Chief Selector Moin Khan was removed on Monday from outside of his residence. Khan was provided police security upon his return to Karachi from Australia. The Chief Selector does not need security now however.
According to police sources, Khan was in contact with them when he reached Karachi but they were no longer in contact with him.
Citizen demonstrated and held a protest outside the Chief Selector’s residence when Khan returned from Australia. The crowd chanted slogans against him. A decision was made in accordance with the situation to provide security to him. Khan has been blamed for compromising Pakistan’s reputation by visiting a casino in Australia. He was called back from Australia by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) immediately after the scandal was exposed.
