BRISBANE (Dunya News) – An emergency meeting between team management and Pakistan cricket team was held in Brisbane to boost the morale of the national team, Dunya News reported on Monday.
As per details, the squad was called on for an emergency meeting by the team management to discuss the reasons behind two humiliating defeats of Pakistan team.
In the first opening match of Pakistan with old rival India, the team faced an embarrassing defeat by 76 runs shattering the hopes of cricket lovers whereas the second match also brought bad news for the fans as West Indies crushed Pakistan team by 150 runs.
Sources reported that the players were advised to save the wickets in first 10 overs instead of making runs whereas the inclusion of fifth bowler in the squad was also taken under discussion.
The team management further forbade the entire team to talk to the media before their next match with Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) advised the players to avoid tension and play with enthusiasm.
