SL scored 187 runs off 40 overs on the loss of six wickets. BMAJ Mendisis holding a pitch with a score of 3 off 9 balls and his partner NLTC Perera scored 6 on 6 balls.

Afghanistan bowlers Dawlat Zadran took one wicket on 15, Shapoor Zadran 1 on 24 whereas Hamid Hassan snatched three wickets on 33 scores.
