LAHORE (Dunya News) – Opener and former captain of Pakistan cricket team Mohammad Hafeez said that doctors advised me to take two weeks rest for complete recovery but management sent me back.
While talking to the media at Gaddafi Stadium, Hafeez stated that he was ready physically and mentally to play WC 2015 but unfortunately, got grade-one injury.
Team management including Coach, Manager and Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to send him back following his injury.
He further expressed that ‘I don’t oppose the PCB’s decision but feel dishearten.’
Mohammad Hafeez added that representing your country while participating in WC is a dream of every one.
Showing assurance on his performance, he pronounced that I am confident on my bowling action and ready to go for a test but management said to avoid as I am having knee injury.
Moreover, Hafeez prayed for the better performance of the team and wished all the best.
