LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani World Cup 2015 squad player Junaid Khan on Friday has been advised by the doctors to take complete rest after his Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) reports came showing the player to have pulled a hamstring. The participation of Khan in the World Cup 2015 is shaky.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources, Junaid Khan would undergo another test on January 17 (tomorrow). Khan has been advised by the doctors to avoid travelling. It is likely that Khan might not participate in the series against New Zealand.

Earlier, Junaid Khan was injured as his foot slipped during delivering a ball in the Gaddafi Stadium as training camp of the World Cup 2015 squad is ongoing.
